Welcome

IPHC

Welcome to hciphc.org - the digital home of Heartland Conference IPHC. The Heartland Conference has a clear focus: to be a praying conference of church planters. Jesus Christ loved the church and gave himself for it. We're getting very close to the heart of God when we plant churches.

We are a proud part of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church, a denomination that is relevant, demonstrative and dynamic. Our conference has a 100+ year track record, and we continue to innovate with ministry for the 21st century. In the words of Bishop Frank Tunstall, we have many more mountains to climb in 21st century ministry! We invite you to join us on this journey!

Fathers — Disciple Makers

Written by Dr. Aldon Preston on . Posted in Men's Ministries

"Wait 'til your father gets home!" I know this is a saying that is past its prime, but it used to be the apex of home the home disciplinary threat. That idea of discipline has apparently gone the way of the dinosaur in that disciplinary measures are no longer considered just the father's role. This may be a positive development but there are still some concerns that go along with it. My question is whether or not have fathers abandoned the function of making disciples along with the sharing of discipline. I hope not.
