Pastor Elizabeth Newman moved to her heavenly home on Thursday, April 6, 2023. She founded Judah House of Praise in Cordell, Oklahoma in 1998 and pastored it until her death. Under her leadership, Judah House developed an outreach to the whole community with a food bank and clothing ministry.

Pastor Liz embraced everyone with the heart of a mother in the faith. In addition to four generations of natural family in the church, she welcomed everyone as family!

Pastor Liz planted Judah House as an independent church which she later brought it in to the IPHC. She served as leader of Si’on Ministries, a network of churches that provided ministerial covering for many ministers. Her ministry was marked by simple sharing of what God was impressing on her heart, leading praise and worship from the piano, and a strong moving of the prophetic gift. She also led a remarkable renovation of the church facilities.

Her love for the Lord was evident in any conversation. She was always interested in what God was saying to you and through you. Her spiritual gift of mothering produced a harvest of multiplied sons and daughters, many of whom are five-fold ministers.
